Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department are among the law enforcement agencies who help make this event a sight to see by keeping the trucks organized on the convoy, making sure we get through the convoy part safely and do such a great job controlling traffic for the event. Thanks for what you do!
Brown Dog Carriers
Brown Dog Carriers, a fairly new company in the State, has stepped up to support this event in a number of ways. They provide equipment needed to move the MPDA equipment, provide meeting space for the committee meetings and support the event financially. We are glad to recognize them with a special plaque.
Dottie Costa
If you don’t recognize the name, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Dottie is one of our unsung heroes who toils behind the scenes like a lot of our volunteers, doing what needs to be done to make the event a success and not being noticed. Well, we noticed! Dottie is involved each year with cooking the great barbecue and making sure our participants don’t leave hungry. Thank you, Dottie!
Pete Mortensen
Pete has been involved with MPDA’s convoy events for more years than anyone can remember. From bringing equipment, to helping with set up, to managing the financial end of our online donations, to organizing our website for the convoy and other activities, we can always count on him to get things done. Last year, when we were in the middle of the virus mess, he worked out a system to allow us to have a virtual event. Our sincere appreciation for all he has done! Thank you!
